Archangel Michael
The archangel Michael's name means "he who is as god". This also signifies his ranking as the greatest of all Angels. Jews regard him as their Ethnarch, the guardian Angel of Israel. Although he has been listed as an Archangel in the celestial hierarchy, he was the ruler of the Seraphim, the highest of the Angelic orders. The Islamic version of his name is Mikail. In Judaic legend ,Michael was the angel who prevented Abraham from sacrificing his son Isaac. He has also been identified as the angel of the burning bush encountered by Moses.
